LOOKING AHEAD: Helping Families Affected by Autism Live Life to the Fullest

Here at the Flutie Foundation we are still buzzing over the grant announcement we made last month! What an honor it was to award $402,158 to 41 wonderful autism organizations in New England, NY, NJ, FL, CA and Canada. Our support will help these groups continue to offer amazing programs and services for over 13,000 families affected by autism.

In the New Year, we are full steam ahead with helping more and more families throughout their journey. This month, we kick off reviewing grant applications for the Allison Keller Education Technology Program, which helps fill the financial and technological gap for schools and organizations that assist individuals with autism. Stay tuned for that big grant announcement in early March!

Early next month, we start collecting applications for our Joey’s Fund Grant Program. This program accepts grant applications from families in New England that are in need of financial assistance for their family member(s) with autism. Grants are used to fund things like respite care, horseback riding lessons, art classes, camp tuition, safety-related items such as fencing and service dogs, social skills training, music therapy/instruments, and much more.
